In September 2015, the fifth edition of the Kunstbeurs aan de Westeinderplassen took place on the grounds of Galerie Sous-Terre in Aalsmeer.

Also this year there were activities such as speed painting, live music, various demonstrations by, among others, glass artists and delicious dishes could be enjoyed at the Horecaplein.

A charity auction also took place, supervised by mayor Jeroen Nobel. Artist Clemens Briels offered the painting ‘Sandakan memories VII’, which was auctioned for no less than €5,000. The proceeds went entirely to KWF Cancer Control.

Despite the bad weather, it remained dry during the annual event ‘Vuur en Licht’ on the water, where people could enjoy a dazzling fireworks show on the roof terrace of the art fair.
